How do I set up my X-Gloo?

Before new customers have had the chance to set up their X-Gloo we often have them asking how do they get it done properly? Fair question in deed and one the 1800 For Promo team want to help with.

There are a some simple steps to follow when setting up your X-Gloo tent:

  • Make sure the area you are setting up the is clean and free from sharp objects to preserve your tent, remove the tent from the tent bag and begin rolling it out.
  • Open up the tent in a star shape making sure the roof is facing up
  • Check the over pressure valves are tight and begin inflating tent legs with your electric or hand pump, stop when you feel air coming out of the over pressure valve.
  • When inflating the 4th leg assist the tent going up by putting your hand on the centre of the tent and position your tent.
  • Weight the legs of the tent accordingly based on the environment you are using the tent.

At this stage the tent is ready to fit the walls / awnings and any other of the many X-Gloo accessories available to customise your tent and make your activation unique.

We don’t find ourselves explaining the how to very often. The German tent design is extremely user friendly, it’s no wonder X-Gloo is a Red Dot award winning product!

Further to above the video below explains how to Set Up your X-Gloo tent. If you are ever in doubt the team at 1800 For Promo (Australian X-Gloo distributors) are more than happy to talk you through the process and get you up and running so you can concentrate on the event ahead!

A Colourful Change for X-Gloo Branding

Screen Printing has been the a great branding solution for X-Gloo since the birth of the tents but due to the methods involved it provides limitations and cannot meet the needs of all customers. Screen Printing will be discontinued as of September 1 2016.

The limitations of screen printing have seen the vibrant world of digital printing come to the forefront of branding when it comes to X-Gloo tents, accessories and Media Walls. Digital printing has many advantages which I will talk about in this blog. Its a welcome change for X-Gloo here in Australia, it will make the quoting and ordering process much faster and the end result will be bright vibrant X-Gloo products at trade shows and events around our country!

Advantages with Digital Printing:

Design: No longer do you need to restrict colours and gradients in your design. Digital printing on X-Gloo tents is carried out using the dye sublimation method. It sees the digital image dyed into the fabric itself resulting in vibrant colours and endless design possibilities.

Durability: With the tent fabric itself dyed the print is as strong as the material the X-Gloo is made from. It has a longer life than screen printing and is less prone to weathering.

Simplicity: Digital printing allows you total design control. With screen printing you are charged per logo and dependent on the print size. Unlike screen printing, Digital allows you to have multiple logos or design patterns on your tent roof or walls. This will allow a faster quoting period with standardised pricing for digital products.

Official distributor of X-Gloo in Australia 1800 For Promo have been working with dye sublimation for many years. Its the same process used for sportswear items such as football jerseys and the like. The logo or design is part of the fabric and made to take a beating! Its a welcome change for X-Gloo here in Australia, it will make the quoting and ordering process much faster and the end result will be bright vibrant X-Gloo products at trade shows and events around our country!

Unbranded X-Gloo tents will still be available and standard colours will be kept in stock. We will still be offering digital thermal transfer printing on tents that need to be delivered fast!
